SalleeAnn Miller with her husband Matthew

SalleeAnn Miller is PTO President for 2022-2023. She has 4 kids in ACPS, including boy-girl twin 9th graders at Western, a 6th grader at Henley, and a 4th grader at Murray! She has her PhD in Education and is a former teacher. She also did research on reading instruction, worked in reading clinics, and was an invited presenter at international reading conferences! Currently, she stays at home with her 4 kids and feels busier than ever! Her family has lived in the Charlottesville area for 5 years, but they moved from Crozet just last year when they bought a home in Murray’s boundaries! Elena McIntosh with her husband Justin

Elena McIntosh is the PTO Vice-President for 2022-23. She and her husband Justin have three children at Murray, a rising 1st grader, rising 4th grader and rising 5th grader. This year, they will also have an exchange student from Estonia in 11th grade at Western Albemarle High School. Elena and her family moved to the area in 2018 when Justin received the call to serve as rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Ivy. Elena is a middle school math and ESOL teacher with a passion for supporting multilingual families and building welcoming communities. Alec Lorenzoni with his wife Lawren

Alec Lorenzoni is PTO Treasurer for 2022-2023. He has a rising 1st grade son at Murray, and a daughter who will join in 2023. He is a lifelong Ivy/Charlottesville resident, and a proud ACPS graduate (Meriwether-Journey-Western). He married into a Murray family, as his wife is an alum and his mother-in-law taught there for several years. Despite the impossibly high bar set by the school’s reputation over the last four decades, the first year nonetheless exceeded those expectations and he couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the tight knit Mustang family these next several years! Ashley Lapinski with her husband David

Ashley has been connected to the VLM community since 2014. She has three children in ACPS, including a 10th grade son at Western, a 6th grade son at Henley, and a 1st grade daughter at Murray. She has served on various committees at VLM, though this is her first year serving on the executive council. She also works part-time in MBA admissions for Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family. Most days this means circling between any myriad of activities and sports, but she wouldn't have it any other way!
