TYPING - Ellen Patterson Students will love this fun online typing program featuring engaging exercises and interactive typing curriculum. Student progress can be individual so brand new students can join and former students can continue where they left off. Grades 2-5, $50, Limit 10.
MODEL VOLCANOES - Valerie Parks Students will work with a partner to make a paper mache volcano. They'll go through the entire process in six weeks, from cutting newspaper strips and making the paper mache paste to erupting their volcano in the end! It will be an explosively good time! PLAY TWO WAYS - Valerie Parks Students will spend half of class playing cooperative and competitive board games. The other half is free choice with access to all classroom materials. They can build, carry out pretend play, paint, or create science experiments. There are endless possibilities! Grades PK-3, $50, Limit 12.
PAINT LIKE AN ARTIST - Catherine Riso Each week we will explore different famous artists from the past to the present. We will take a few minutes to learn about an artist then try our best to complete works just like theirs. For an example, we will draw like Picasso, print like Warhol, and paint like O'Keeffe. NATURE TRAIL ADVENTURE - S. Mueller Come explore the outdoor spaces at VL Murray. Each week, students will hike the nature trail and create a nature craft from the treasures they find along the way.
